Whale Watching Jervis Bay May to November
.jpg)
On the 12th August, we sighted the first pod of Humpback Whales heading down south to Antarctica. As the weeks went by, more and more Whales were sighted cruising past Jervis Bay on their way home.
The first Mother and Calf for 2011 were sighted on the 26th August, heading into the bay for some quiet time at Murrays Beach.
October is the peak season here in Jervis Bay for Whale Watching with approximately 20-30 Whales sighted every day.
Over the past 2 weeks, we have had an amazing number of Mothers and Calves inside the bay every day. The calves are generally very active and seem to be very inquisitive towards our cruise vessels.
Jervis Bay is the perfect place for these Whales to have a rest for a few days as the bay itself is sheltered from all possible weather and sea conditions.
Come and Join the team at Dolphin Wild Cruises Jervis Bay for an unforgettable Whale Watching Adventure!
